Being an effective ally to others takes a lot of skill, especially when our own thoughts and actions can get in our way! In this session, Dr. Steve Yacovelli will explore the three areas every ally should focus on in order to be more consciously inclusive.

From THINK IN about your own unconscious biases, to SPEAK UP to create a more inclusive workplace, to ACT OUT in ways you can foster a feeling of belonging for everyone within your organization, you’ll complete this session with actionable steps you can take to be a more inclusive ally and make our workplace — and the world — just a little bit better for us all.

Dr. Steve Yacovelli has been in the leadership, learning and development, change management, and diversity and inclusion consulting space pretty much his whole career (about twenty-five years). In his consulting experience he’s seen some leaders completely excel in their effectiveness, and some completely crash and burn due to their lack of competence in leadership skills. Steve’s desire was to help both types of leaders be more effective, through coaching, formal and informal training.
