Webinar Summary

You can identify and mitigate workplace hazards with an effective Risk Assessment program. What does that look like and how can it be utilized? This session will address potential problems occupational safety and health professionals can face and provide the skills needed to perform a thorough and effective risk assessment.

This webinar is intended to provide a loss control perspective of the topic. Insurance coverage issues will not be addressed. If you have questions concerning coverage or insurability, please contact your insurance broker or underwriter.

Learning Outcomes

  • Attendees will obtain a deeper understanding of the risk assessment process: how this differs from a job safety analysis (JSA), assessing probability/severity, and assigning a risk rating.
  • Attendees will improve their skills by discussing real-life scenarios and mock risk assessments.
  • Attendees will learn more about using risk assessments to eliminate workplace hazards by providing examples of commonly found hazards, suggestions on mitigations, and success stories of past assessments.
