Original Air Date: December 12, 2023

Webinar Summary

Driving on a sunny day in 70 degrees paints an idyllic image. Unfortunately, all over the country there are adverse weather conditions occurring every day. Some locations will have regular amounts of snow and some will have harsh rains. Some storms will move in quickly with no warning and some might set new records in snow or rainfall. Each type of weather brings a different challenge to the company, their drivers, and their fleets. The time to train and prepare is when the weather is nice, not as a reaction to the 10-day forecast. It is a company’s responsibility to recognize the potential adverse weather that can pose a challenge to their drivers and use best practices and procedures that can help them mitigate these risks.
