When insurance professionals are faced with rapidly evolving or unprecedented market conditions, the nature of conversations with their clients changes. During these interactions there is opportunity to build relationships rather than simply push information or respond to frustration. Through a unique assortment of independent preparation, virtual instruction, and small group coaching, producers and other client facing personnel will acquire the skills and practice necessary to share information with confidence and credibility, handle push back, and effectively navigate emotional responses.

This program includes one large group virtual session and a choice between four small group virtual workshop session times for individualized instruction and feedback.

Many of us feel anxious or unprepared to share a tough message. Instead we avoid the interaction or give a clumsy explanation that includes a lot of insurance jargon. This workshop will help you rethink how you share those messages. You’ll learn to put the needs of your listeners first, both when preparing for and during the conversation. At the same time, you refine your delivery skills. The combination of a shift in approach and added skill set, allows you to leave the program as a more effective professional.

Participants in this course will receive instruction and small group coaching across a variety of communication disciplines with the intended goal of handling tough conversations. Topics will include:

  • Focusing on the needs of others
  • Sharing information with confidence and credibility
  • Developing a clear message and deliver it with presence
  • Handling pushback and emotional responses effectively


Chubb Agents, Brokers, Producers, Business Development, Account Executives and Sales Management professionals who wish to improve their messaging and communication skills. While this program will be conducted virtually, it will include many concepts that can be applied to a variety of professional one-on-one communication situations.
