Webinar Summary

Join representatives from Chubb and the law firm of Jackson Lewis for a primer on the emerging topic of biometric information privacy legislation and its implications for Cyber and EPL coverages. This program will review the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and the legal landscape from which it developed, including landmark court decisions. From here, we will explore developments in other jurisdictions and what compliance with these emerging statutes could mean for insureds. Finally, we’ll briefly apply what we’ve learned to claim scenarios that may trigger response of Cyber and EPL coverages.
