Arranging for outside contractors and service providers is a routine part of a property manager’s duties. These outside entities are often accustomed to providing services that are beyond the capabilities of the internal staff. Although this is a great way to supplement internal resources, it can be a minefield of problems if the contracts to engage these outside services are not managed correctly.
