Chubb Personal Risk Services, in partnership with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Aresty Institute of Executive Education, is offering the Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation program, a comprehensive educational curriculum intended for high performing insurance professionals.

Featuring faculty members of the Wharton School and the Wharton Wealth Management Initiative at Wharton Executive Education, as well as numerous experts in high net worth insurance, the program offers both a breadth and depth of learning that can provide unrivaled differentiation for those who become certified. This rigorous program combines on-site and virtual learning, setting new standards for industry excellence.

This competitive program offers exclusive opportunities for participants to hone their skills and expertise in the area of high net worth personal insurance. The CAPI designation can boost your career potential as a high net worth producer by creating a better understanding of client needs and solutions. To achieve the CAPI designation, individuals must complete all modules in the 12-month course of study, including a capstone project.

Audience

This program is intended for agency principles or employees in a senior leadership role who regularly engage with successful clients. Individuals should have at least five years of experience in high net worth personal insurance, centers of influence management or business development. All candidates must apply for acceptance into the program.

Program requirements

To achieve the CAPI designation, individuals must complete all sessions in the 12-month course of study, including:

  • Attend all three module training sessions (Kickoff, Midterm & Graduation).
  • Participate in the CAPI weekly virtual lectures held on Tuesdays 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET. It is required that you attend 75% of the virtual lectures live. Missed sessions to be made up by viewing recording of the virtual lecture.
  • Complete a Capstone Project which addresses a business challenge or opportunity in your agency. Adhere to project deadlines throughout the year.

Additionally, as a CAPI Alumni, you’ll be required to attend two Alumni virtual lectures annually in order to maintain the CAPI designation. Other Alumni training opportunities will be offered, but not required.

Application process

To apply for acceptance to the CAPI designation program, candidates must:
1. Complete the application form below by November 18, 2024
2. Applicants accepted into the CAPI program will be notified on December 2, 2024

Duration

The CAPI program begins on January 14, 2025 and ends December 10, 2025.

Tuition

Tuition for the 12-month program is $6,000, which includes all instruction. Travel costs and the cost of your hotel stay (if applicable) for the residential programs are the additional responsibility of the participant. Chubb will cover other costs, including most meals.

Attire

Casual business attire is appropriate for the program.
